Making an impact matters
The Heffernan Foundation supports communities in a variety of ways through the help of our employees, sponsors, and generous donors.
Each year the Heffernan Foundation supports nonprofits working in education, shelter, and food insecurity via our Grant Program. Grants are by invitation each year and range between $2,500-$10,000.
After her passing in 2004, The Heffernan Foundation created the Garee Lee Smith Scholarship to honor one of Heffernan’s first employees who truly embodied the Heffernan culture.
In partnership with College Track, each year Heffernan chooses one student from the program to receive a $60,000 scholarship to assist with tuition.
